The protection of privacy in relation to personal data is the concern of every person at Sum & Sam Professional Service Limited (“SSPRO Academy”, "the Academy," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong. We respect personal data privacy and are committed to fully implementing and complying with the data protection principles and all relevant provisions under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO") in Hong Kong.

We are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of the personal information we hold. We pledge to ensure compliance by our staff with the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you enrol in or use our online courses and services via the LearnWorlds platform and related channels.

保護個人資料私隱是深與傑專業服務有限公司(「SSPRO學院」、「本學院」、「我們」或「我方」)每一位人員的責任。我們尊重個人資料私隱,並致力全面落實及遵守香港法例第486章《個人資料(私隱)條例》(「條例」)下的資料保障原則及所有相關條文。
我們致力保障所持有的個人資料的私隱性、保密性及安全性。我們保證確保我們的員工遵守最嚴謹的安全及保密標準。
本隱私權政策闡明當您透過LearnWorlds平台及相關渠道報名或使用我們的線上課程與服務時,我們如何收集、使用、披露及保障您的資料。

1. Personal Identification Information 個人識別資料

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enrol in a course, subscribe to a newsletter, or fill out a form. This information is collected in a lawful and fair manner, with explicit purpose, as outlined in this statement.

2. How We Use Collected Information 我們如何使用所收集的資料

SSPRO Academy collects and uses your personal data for the following explicit purposes, which are directly related to the provision of our educational services:

• To execute service agreements: Your Full Legal Name is used for the formal execution of service agreements via OneSign/ DocuSign or similar platforms.  簽署服務協議: 您的法定全名將用於透過OneSign/ DocuSign或類似平台正式簽署服務協議(例如:會員加入協議)。
• To issue reference letters: Upon your specific request, your Full Legal Name and Identification Documentation are used solely for the purpose of preparing and issuing an official Reference Letter.  簽發推薦信: 應您的明確要求,您的法定全名及身份證明文件號碼將僅用於準備及簽發正式推薦信之目的。
• To facilitate course community and support: To form and manage communication groups (e.g., on WhatsApp, WeChat, or Line) for peer interaction, course updates, and support.  促進課程社群與支援: 為形成及管理溝通群組(例如於WhatsApp、微信或Line),以供學員交流、課程更新及支援。
• To provide and manage services: To process your enrolment, launch course access, and provide customer support.  提供及管理服務: 處理您的報名、開通課程存取權限,以及提供客戶支援。
• To improve customer service: Your feedback and interaction data help us respond to your service requests and support needs more efficiently.  改善客戶服務: 您的反饋及互動數據幫助我們更有效地回應您的服務請求及支援需求。
• To personalise the user experience: We may use aggregated data to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided, allowing us to improve our course offerings.  個人化用戶體驗: 我們可能使用匯總數據來了解學員整體如何使用所提供的服務與資源,從而幫助我們改善課程內容。
• To send periodic emails: We may use the email address to send you information and updates pertaining to your course, company news, related product information, etc. You can unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.  發送定期電郵: 我們可能使用電郵地址向您發送與課程相關的資訊與更新、公司新聞、相關產品資訊等。您可隨時取消訂閱非必要的推廣通訊。

3. Sharing Your Personal Information 分享您的個人資料

We do not sell, trade, or rent Students' personal identification information to others.
我們不會向他人出售、交易或出租學員的個人識別資料。

We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers only under strict confidentiality agreements to assist us in operating our business and providing services to you, such as:

• LearnWorlds (CY) Ltd. (our course hosting platform, based in the Cyprus which may involve cross-border data transfer under appropriate safeguards).

• We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.  在法律要求或為保護我們的權利、財產或安全的情況下,我們亦可能披露資料。
• For Reference Letters: The data used in a Reference Letter (Full Legal Name and potentially Identification Document Number) will be contained within the letter itself, which is issued directly to the Student. We do not share this letter with third parties unless explicitly authorised by the Student.  關於推薦信: 用於推薦信的資料(法定全名及可能的身份證明文件號碼)將包含在推薦信內,該信件將直接簽發給學員。除非得到學員明確授權,我們不會將此推薦信分享予第三方。

4. Data Retention & Security 資料保留與安全

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal data. 
我們只會在為達致收集資料之目的所需期間內,或法律要求的期限內,保留您的個人資料。我們採用適當的資料收集、儲存、處理慣例及安全措施,以防範未經授權的存取、更改、披露或破壞您的個人資料。

As a general policy, and in line with standard business and compliance practices, we retain student records—including personal data collected for service administration and verification—for a period of 7 years after the termination of your student relationship with us. This retention period supports potential audit requirements, facilitates the re-issuance of documents (such as course completion certificates or reference letters), and ensures we can meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
作為一般政策,並配合標準的商業及合規慣例,我們會保留學員記錄—包括為服務管理及核實目的而收集的個人資料—為期 7年,自您與我們的學員關係終止後起算。此保留期有助滿足潛在的審計要求、便於重新簽發文件(例如課程完成證書或推薦信),並確保我們能夠履行法律及監管義務。

Sensitive data, such as Identification Document Numbers collected for the purpose of issuing a reference letter, are not deleted immediately after the letter is issued. Instead, they are retained in accordance with the general 7-year policy stated above.
敏感資料,例如為簽發推薦信目的而收集的身份證明文件號碼,不會在信件簽發後立即刪除。相反,它們將根據上述的7年一般政策予以保留。

5. Third Party Websites 第三方網站

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., recommended reading, tools). We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to from our Service. Browsing and interaction on any other website is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

6. Your Rights under the PDPO 您在《個人資料(私隱)條例》下的權利

In accordance with the PDPO, you have the right to:

• Check whether we hold your personal data and request access. 查核我們是否持有您的個人資料及要求查閱。
• Request correction of any inaccurate data. 要求更正任何不準確的資料。
• Inquire about our data policies and practices. 查詢我們的資料政策及慣例。
• Request to be informed of the type of personal data held. 要求獲告知所持有個人資料的類別。

SSPRO Academy has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the top of this page. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

8. Your Acceptance of These Terms 您對這些條款的接受

By enrolling in our courses and providing your personal data, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Services. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
透過報讀我們的課程及提供您的個人資料,即表示您接受本政策。如果您不同意本政策,請勿使用我們的服務。您於本政策變更發布後繼續使用服務,將被視為接受該等變更。
